What is the first thought you think about when you hear the word equality? Personally, the first thing that comes up in my mind is equality between women and men. If we consider society today, there is no justice between genders. The most laws and formal rules give the same rights and make the same demands on women as men but the society is much more than laws and written rules that’s why the most of those laws are not enforced in real life. However, will equality between men and women ever occur? Book Review: The Wave

As a reader, I am very interested in the writer Todd Strasser which was born in 1950 in New York City. Todd Strasser writes his books largely out of his own experience or remembered feeling. He writes more than 140 young-adult and middle-grade novels and many short stories under the pen names Morton Rhue and T.S. Rue. The wave is one of the many novels written by Todd Strasser.  The novel talks about a story which based on an incident that took place in a high school history class. Ben Ross the history teacher and the main character is about to teach his students a life lesson they will never forget. The novel starts when Mr. Ben shows a documentary about the second world war and how the Nazis Germany was. The students get upset and have a lot of questions on their mind, so Mr. Ben spends all the night reading books about Nazis and prepare himself to give his students the answer that they want. Climate change

Every year, we are noticing new undeniable climate events and evidences that climate change is happening in real. Some of these evidences are the sea levels rising, global temperature rising, warming oceans, melting ice sheets, declining Arctic sea ice, extreme temperature, ocean acidification, and reduced snow cover.  None of these events is a hoax, none either is fake. We can’t anymore consider that climate change doesn’t exist or that it’s just a propaganda to scare people. Climate change can’t be denied or ignored any longer, it is a real issue and we have already a lot of researches that confirm that all living beings are suffering from it.
